I teach a range of jewellery & fused glass workshops here in the North East Derbyshire area. You neither need to have any previous experience nor do you need to be a creative person to enjoy these sessions. Come along with a group of friends or simply by yourself and meet like minded people in a friendly environment.

WHY BUY HANDMADE

The Busy Box Room is a small business where I make all of the products myself using traditional tools and equipment. When you buy from me you are buying a unique piece, no-one else has an identical piece anywhere in the world. Large corporations will seek to manufacture products that look handmade, however they are largely machine made and consequently less environmentally friendly. When you buy handmade you are helping to keep traditional working skills alive, you are supporting local people and you are keeping revenue in the country. I work tirelessly to ensure that my products are of exceptional quality using the best materials from top suppliers.

HAVE A GO WORKSHOPS

As a former teacher I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and love of craft. I hold workshops throughout the year for up to 6 people. By limiting the numbers in my sessions I can guarantee that everyone is getting the attention that they need. I work hard to ensure that everyone enjoys their time at The Busy Box Room and leaves feeling satisfied.

ARTISAN & PRODUCERS MARKETS 2026

I’ve got lots of markets and events happening throughout the year where I’ll be selling a good range of sterling silver jewellery alongside fused glass jewellery and homeware. Hopefully I’ll see some of you in person but otherwise there are lots of pieces available to purchase here on the website.
